Located in the Bristol suburbs and dating back to the 8th century, Westbury on Trym
(Westberrye super Trim)
became property of Sir Ralph Sadleir during Henry's Dissolution.

The Whitefriars of Coventry
Sadleir owned this property through Henry VIII's
dissolution of the monasteries some time after 1539. He sold it to John Hales on December 16th, 1544 for approximately £84.
