Notes:
Brown, hard-covered book in marbled slipcase.
258 pages.
The copy in my possession
has numerous notes scribbled in the margins and end pages and the
name Cora Smith Gould is inscribed in the front of the book.
You'll notice that the book listed farther down on this list, Great trees from
Little Saplings Grow, was written by Mrs. Gould.
This copy of the life and times must
have accompanied Mrs. Gould across England as she
researched her genealogical narrative. On the title
page she has written "I Cora Anna Smith
Gould...have visited the tomb of Sir Ralph Sadleir
in Standon"
