My name is Tom Charney and I started this website out of respect and admiration for Sir Ralph Sadleir. I was first introduced to Sir Ralph in 1990 when I was asked to portray him at a Renaissance Festival in Bristol, Wisconsin, USA. I had no knowledge of Sir Ralph,  the English Renaissance or of Queen Elizabeth I. 

Over the past decade and a half I have learned much of all three and have amassed a great store-house of information relating to Sir Ralph Sadleir and his descendents Including the most complete library of books related to Sir Ralph in the world. This Sadleir website is an online collection of information about the Sadleir family. I am the sole owner-operator of this website. 

My thanks to all who have shared information with myself and this website. With everyone's help we can assemble the puzzle of this great family's past and preserve it for future generations.
